Our Foundation

The PTK Framework

Three pillars working together to bridge the gap between what you believe and how you behave.

P

Psychology

The Science of Behavior

The study of how we think, form habits, and execute behaviour. It provides the structure for consistency, accountability, and measurable growth.

T

Theology

The Scriptural Foundation

The study of God’s nature and His design for human life. It provides context and conviction — grounding action in truth, purpose, and alignment with God’s design.

K

Krăsis

Structured Integration

The integration of distinct elements into a unified whole. Within PTK, it represents the disciplined blending of belief and behaviour into one coherent formation system.

The Science Behind the Structure

The YOM Journal isn't built on wishful thinking—it's built on decades of behavioral science research. Here are some of the principles we integrate:

Read the Research

Implementation Intentions

Research by Peter Gollwitzer demonstrates that specific "if-then" plans significantly increase the likelihood of goal execution.

Habit Formation

Behavioural science shows that repeated actions within consistent structures strengthen neural pathways and reinforce habit stability.

Progress Monitoring

What gets measured gets managed. Tracking behaviour creates feedback loops that support motivation, learning, and adjustment.

Identity-Based Goals

Focusing on who you want to become rather than just what you want to achieve creates lasting change. Lasting behavioural change occurs when actions align with a person's identity, not just their goals.

Stewardship of Time

"Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90:12). Practical wisdom is expressed in how we order and account for our days. Structure your daily routine to support your long-term direction.

Faith & Action

"Faith without works is dead" (James 2:26). Let your results prove your faith. Faith is not merely internal conviction. Scripture teaches that genuine faith expresses itself through observable action and faithful obedience.

Vision & Clarity

"Write the vision and make it plain" (Habakkuk 2:2). Vision is not meant to remain abstract. Scripture encourages clarity and articulation so that what is revealed can be understood, remembered, and produced.

Accountability & Growth

"Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves." (2 Corinthians 13:5). The reason why many experience stagnation in getting to where they are going, is because they don't honestly account for where they are presently at. Growth is strengthened through honest feedback, self examination and accountability systems.

Theology

Rooted in Biblical Truth

Theology provides the moral orientation and spiritual framework that gives action meaning. Scripture consistently emphasises stewardship, faithfulness, and disciplined obedience. Study the biblical principles reflected in the Year of Manifestation Journal.

Krăsis

The Integration of Truth & Science

Krăsis (κρᾶσις) is a Greek word meaning a blending or integration of elements into a unified whole.

Within the PTK framework, Krăsis represents the integration of psychology and theology into a single formation system.

Rather than separating spiritual conviction from behavioural structure, PTK recognises that both are necessary for disciplined living.

Psychology explains how behaviour changes. Theology explains why behaviour matters.

Krăsis ensures that belief, behaviour, and action operate together rather than in isolation.

Research & Assessment

The Research Behind the Framework

The PTK Framework is grounded in both evidence-based behavioural science and biblical truth. Our research is still ongoing and you are welcome to be a part of it!

Research in progress. PTK Journals is actively conducting original research on disciplined execution within faith communities. This page will be updated as findings develop.
